Semi-break

We are not really going to TTC until after my surgery in December. We missed this month (unless I double peak). It seems like it would be better to spend our energy on really trying once everything is fixed. We're not TTA and I'm still charting, but I'm not going to put much effort into using fertile days since we haven't been great lately. I think D may not want to put in the effort to use the days now since it's not working. D may be thinking what's the point in trying right now since my body is still crazy.

  1. I think that is a great idea! Take a break and concentrate on preparing for the surgery mentally, physically, & spiritually!

  2. P.S. We love God given breaks at the Sew household. It's so peaceful. Rather odd, but we really enjoy not having the fertile day monkey on our back. :)

  3. I'm right there with ya! Although, my break will only last a month, and I WILL be TTA... but underneath, I feel the same way. Like, "why bother?" :)

At least there is a light at the end of the why bother tunnel, right?!

  4. Hey there. You asked over on my blog if I was in DFW... nope :( We moved to Amarillo right after we married bc of my husbands job. However, all my friends are in DFW. DFW is only a short 5 hour car ride away.

Before my lap in May of 2008 with Dr. H we took a break from TTC too. And just used TTA days. I was in so much pain and wanted to bad for Dr. H to figure out why I hurt so much. Then after the lap and finding stage 2 endo... the pain was growing month after month... we didnt have I for three months. Its just hurt too bad. After my second surgery, all the pain was gone. Praise God! It was such a good experience, I tell George all the time that I want to move to Omaha.

  5. Mating in captivity - not good. Enjoy your break. There's a lot to be said for having sex for fun, for people whose marriage has already been extremely taxed!
