P+8

I'm on P+8 and no spotting/bleeding so far (and we used days of fertility). I'll continue to update on whether any appears. That's all for now.

Fantastic!!

I just heard today about a patient who found out she was pg the day of her scheduled NaPro surgery... maybe you'll find out b4 your scheduled surgery :)

Our Journey So Far

April 8, 2011- our daughter KGS is born
July 2010- start cyclical antibiotics=bleeding from P+4 to P+9 but BFP, EDD 4/9/11
May-June 2010- start taking Mucinex and 500 mg B6 sustained release, more crazy bleeding, but still good progesterone
April 2010- another cycle with crazy bleeding but good progesterone, start Pain & Brain Supplement for inflammation
March 2010- laparotomy with Dr. Hilgers- 8 spots of endometrosis, an ovarian cyst and tubal cyst removed
December 2009-March 2010- waiting for laparotomy, we both take another round of antibiotics and a course of anti-yeast medication, I start cortisol and then Endo diet
December 2009- surgery with Dr. Hilgers (laparascopy, hysteroscopy, SHSG) = endometrosis, open tubes, yeast and signs of inflammation in uterus and need a laparotomy
July 2009-December 2009- waiting for laparatomy on December 9
April 2009-June 2009- antibiotics for both of us, begin T3 for thyroid issues, D's informal SA is good, still having spotting/bleeding after ovulation most cycles
February 2009-March 2009- do hormone series bloodwork, still having crazy bleeding, get bloodwork results, normal except for thyroid issue
January 2009- received reply from Dr. Hilgers, need to do bloodwork and exploratory laparatomy
November 2008-January 2009- waiting for reply from Dr. Hilgers
September 2008-November 2008- Creighton charting to send to Dr. Hilgers for consulation
September 2008- find out about Creighton charting and start learning it
May 2008-September 2008- unmedicated cycles with crazy bleeding, OBGYN has no idea what's causing it
January 2008-May 2008- clomid with OBGYN, who says I need to see RE after the 3 failed cycles
January 2008- worried about repeated late ovulation, call OBGYN
July 14, 2007- our wedding, started TTC

BFN- big fat negative pregnancy test
BFP- big fat positive pregnancy test
CD- cycle day...cycle day 1 is start of menstruation
DPO- days past ovulation
FF- Fertility Friend (charting website)
FP- "freaking" period- menstruation
HPT- home pregnancy test
IF- infertility
MFI- male factor infertility
O- ovulation
PPVI- Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE where Dr. Hilgers is
RE- Reproductive Endocrinologist
SA- semen analysis
TTC- trying to conceive
