I have had it pointed out to me lately that I am quite controlling, so I am trying to work on that.  Any suggestion would be helpful.  Because I'm controlling, I also feel like any problems in my life (or that of our family) are related directly to my failings, such as when K has napping issues.

K woke up after napping only about 40 minutes or so and she definitely needs nap at least an hour.  I know she is still tired, but she is in her crib screaming bloody murder, and going in does not calm her down.  Yesterday she finally ended up going back to sleep for another 1.5 hours.  I just don't know what is best for her sometimes.

Is there anything that I can do to encourage someone to exercise and eat better other than offering to exercise with them that wouldn't be rude or controlling?

How do you do with times were there are household projects that need to get done but aren't (if you aren't the one who needs to do them) without nagging and being pushy and annoying.

K is starting to have more frustrated tantrum times.  I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'm sure that I' m still waiting for ovulation, and I'm on CD 21.   I'm pretty sure this will go on for a while since K is still breastfeeding quite a bit.

Family Baby Shower and a couple odds and ends * Updated

Update: I went to see the ob and she checked me out and didn't see any reason for the pain other than he's got his back jammed way into my side.

Saturday was the family baby shower in Austin with my mom's family.  It was great to see everyone especially my grandparents.  In addition to my grandma, all of my aunts, two of my grown cousins, my future sister-in-law and D's best friend's wife were all there.  There were three kids there (in addition to my in-utero one), my cousin's daughter who is two years old, D's best friend's daughter who is seven months old (and actually they are expecting #2, she's four weeks or so), and my youngest cousin who is five months old.  We now have the pack and play (so he'll have somewhere to sleep), the bottles (just need the breast pump although we'll only be using them occasionally unless there's an issue), the stroller base (got the snap and go), the high chair/booster seat, one of the wool diaper covers, the bathtub, a bunch of washcloths and towels and a few receiving blankets.  I don't have pictures yet since we didn't bring our camera, but I should hopefully see some soon and I'll post them when I do.  I have another shower at the end of February that my MIL and mom are throwing.

I've been having some pain on my far right side for the last day or so.  It's in an area where he's been kicked so I'm assuming it's probably just some body part wedged in, but I have a call in to the ob to see what she says.  I'm 28 weeks and 2 days today and since Saturday, I've been getting quite uncomfortable.  I had to get a new bra earlier this week (thankfully the last one lasted from 16 weeks to about 28 weeks).

Also, does anyone have suggestions for secular resources for NFP?  I'm hoping to encourage my brother's fiancĂ©e to look into it after a talk we had this weekend, but they aren't religious at all so I want resources that focus on the medical/environmental side of the pill and how NFP works.

Picture Frame Help

You know those picture frames that say Grandma, Grandpa, etc.?  Does anyone have ideas on where to find them?  I've finally decided to do those as the Christmas gift but don't know where to look.

PIO

I did have a message on my home machine from PPVI from this morning with more details that I just saw (however, I'm still annoyed that I didn't hear back from them).  Dr. H wants me to do PIO shots on P+4, P+7, and P+10, which is funny to me since I have high progesterone (20 ng/mL+) every time it's tested including during crazy bleeding.  However, I'm willing to try most anything to get this stupid bleeding to stop.  Since I've already passed P+4 and P+7, I may not be starting until next cycle with the shots, but I'll find out when I talk to them tomorrow.  If I do need the shot this cycle, I'll have to go through the local compounding pharmacy and try to get in touch with my doctor friend  How do I find out whether any part of PIO will be covered by my insurance?  Any suggestions on what the least expensive way to go on getting them for next cycle is?

Hmmm...any ideas?

I'm not spotting and it's P+11, which is good. However, I was looking at my chart and it looks like the crazy spotting/bledding during my LP seems to only happen when we use days of fertility, which we didn't this cycle. I have no idea why it wouldn't happen on cycles we didn't use days of fertility if it's endo or a polyp or something. Any ideas?
