CD 15 waiting

I'm on CD 15 and I'm not having any peak type mucus yet, just 8C.  I'm hoping this cycle isn't super long and doesn't put us in post-peak time for surgery.  I don't get why my body would do a lovely CD 15 ovulation a week after surgery, but can't even manage to start gearing up by then the cycle after.

  1. Our bodies have a wicked sense of humor.

I hope it isn't a long cycle either. Hope your peak comes soon.

  2. I hate long cycles. And it is esp. bad if you have an appointment!

  3. I guess it seems a little silly to take hormone drugs just to make your cycle timing normal, but it did work for me. Is that a possibility? Maybe not at this point in your cycle...

  4. Is this your first full cycle after the lap? I've had two laps and both times my cycle was off the next month. I normally have a 28 day cycle. First lap made it go 40 days and the next made it 36. They said it was normal for your body to react to the surgery.

  5. Our bodies definitely have a strange sense of humour!!!

Since I didn't have a real period until seven months until after my first surgery I don't have a lot of advice. I do know that this cycle was completely wonky with strange bleeding at weird times.

Peak was late for me this time as well and I blame it on holiday stress. Perhaps it's the same for you?

  6. It is (sortof) funny in that you want to say "hurry up and ovulate already!" but the stress the not ovulating is causing you causes it to delay more-vicous cycle! I am ovulating late this cycle too-seems to be something in the water. I had to refill my amox twice this month! I know it will come soon-for both of us!
