Brown

It was just a tiny bit, but I had some very little brown spotting this morning and it freaked me out.  I called and talked to one of Dr. H's fellows and they said just pelvic rest and plenty of water.  I don't have any cramping.  I really need it to get to Monday and our u/s quickly.  I just need to know that Baby Blondie is ok.  Baby Blondie and I (and D too) could use some prayers.  It's probably nothing but it's still scary.  I'm 6 weeks today.

  1. It must be so scary to see that! I will pray that Monday comes quickly and that your minds can be put at ease!

  4. I will def pray. Like you said, probably nothing, but scary just the same. My sisters friend bled a lot of red blood during every healthy pregnancy, I can't imagine!

  5. I'm sure nothing will put your mind at ease until that u/s, but I do see a LOT of women spot at 6 weeks and things are perfectly ok.

    Prayers and hugs.

  6. I know it is scary. I had spotting a couple times during the first trimester (mostly pink and red) and here we are at 24 weeks. Hang in there and take it easy the next couple of days until the u/s.

  7. I had the brown bleeding when I was pg with Mikey. I actually had quite a bit and everything was fine. My doc at the time said it was old blood. Who knows, but I'll pray for you and yes, get rest and drink lots :)

  9. Brown=old blood according to my OB:) Let's hope that's what it is and nothing more.

I had some bright red bleeding in week 7 of this pregnancy and it was just a broken blood vessel. I hope your worry is resolved asap!

  10. I also had brown spotting with my son. I remember the panic. It was nothing, absolutely nothing. Later I heard that it could be a result of implantation, although I am not sure if that is true. He's 5 now!

  13. I'm praying too! I wanted to mention that I found your blog awhile ago, but I must have forgotten to click follow because I completely missed all the pregnancy news!!! Congratulations, and I hope that everything turns out well!

And on an unrelated note, I just realized that we got married on the same day! Happy 3 year anniversary one month late! :)

  14. I had CD1 red bleeding with Maggs starting at 6 wks 2 days and then continued to bleed / spot for 5.5 weeks so I know how scary it all can be. Hang in there, you, D and Baby Blondie are in our prayers. Are they going to check your progesterone level on Monday too?

  15. I can defnitely imagine your anxiety. I had several rounds of brown spotting in the first trimester and it drove me batty. Am praying, but very much hoping that my prayers aren't really necessary. Hang in there!!
