Red Spotting, please pray *updated *2nd update

I'm having red spotting.  No cramping or anything.  Please pray that Baby Blondie continues to be ok.

Update:
I have contacted my local ob and PPVI (both right after I saw the spotting) and I'm waiting for a call back.  My progesterone was drawn Monday and I had my PIO injection last night.

Follow Update:
I got an u/s.  The heartbeat is still looking good.  I do have a subchorionic hematoma.  PPVI said my progesterone is 28.4, which is still good, but it did drop from the 40 I had earlier.  They are going to talk to the drs since I told them about the spotting/subchorionic hematoma and see if I need to go back up, but they may not be able to let me know until Monday.

  2. Praying! I'm assuming that you're getting an ultrasound and a progesterone level asap? I was 6 wks 2 days w/ Maggs when I started bleeding so I know how frightening it can be. Hang in there and trust in Him.

  3. Hi Mrs. Blondie - I had the exact same thing - it turned out to be that my placenta was lying on my cervix, putting pressure on it and causing it to bleed. I hope you can get an ultrasound and if you haven't already, I would recommend you get Dr. Hilgers to put you on some antibiotics as soon as possible. My placenta was low lying due to an infection in my uterus. Will pray for you!

  4. PRAYING. Try not to stress as it can make it worse. Did you contact PPVI?

  5. I'm sorry, I know how scary it is. I had some pink/red spotting early on too. Hang in there.

  6. I can't even tell you how many women I've seen for "emergency" ultrasounds who are spotting, and they are EXACTLY as far along as you are (between 6 and 7 weeks). And keep in mind, most of these women are NOT coming from infertility - so it is a very common thing, not only for those of us with IF. (Of course, it makes it scarier for those with IF or previous losses, though.)

I hope that Mary will help to soothe your worries and calm your heart as you wait for your results. I am praying for her intercession now.

  7. I hope it resolves itself with no issue:) I had the same scare at almost the same time about 7 weeks along. OB said it was a broken blood vessel b/c she couldn't see any other cause. I hope that's the case for you! Praying for good news soon!

  12. I had this - subchorionic hemotoma or hemhorrage in my last two pregnancies. My little boy is 16 months and my other little boy is fine - due in December! Sounds like the exact same thing ;) Will be praying!

  14. I had the exact same thing happen a few days after my first appointment when I was about 7 weeks. Scared the pants off me! I hear it's fairly common though. I'll be praying that this goes away and doesn't come back!

  15. What a relief and everything sounds well. I know this is very common in healthy pregnancies. Still, I can imagine how much it has caused you to worry.

  16. I'm sorry you had to go through this scare. Take it easy for now and hopefully the SCH will resolve soon. I have heard of many women who have them and carry full term. Praying for you!
